Hello, I'm Daisy!

 

I’m an illustrator and graphic designer from the Isle of Lewis, currently living in Inverness. I have over 5 years of experience working as a freelance graphic designer, as I was self-taught before I started studying. 

 

I am passionate about storytelling in its many forms with my main areas of interest being editorial and children’s illustration, design for publication and branding, although I’m open to a wide range of projects.

 

I enjoy working with mixed media, especially combining traditional + digital techniques and have a wide skill set that I can adapt to each individual project. Personally, I think that’s part of what makes visual communication so incredibly enjoyable. I am especially interested in projects surrounding folktales, myths and legends, animal welfare, mental health, inclusivity and sustainability. While I have my own artistic voice, I’m always looking for more techniques and approaches to try and I thoroughly enjoy a challenge.
